Jacqueline & Bob Engagement | September 2020

I met Jacqueline a few years ago when I shot the EPIC wedding of her sister. I freaking loved her sister and brother in law. They are the MOST fun, we got to take wedding pics with hockey sticks, and I got introduced to corned beef at their reception and have never looked back!

So naturally- when her sister reached out to me I was a YES. Except- I’m an idiot and didn’t put two and two together until I’m literally 20 minutes into this engagement session and suddenly the light-bulb in my blond-dyed head went off and I was like ‘wwwhhhhhaaaattt!’ So- I was already vibing and loving this couple- and then I figured that out- and all was right with the world.

In true 2020 fashion- I was late to this engagement session because I took a wrong turn into this botanical garden area- and so decided to turn around in a parking lot. Which happened to be a parking lot that was the guideway to a long line of Covid testers. yep, got stuck in a Covid test line. It’s so 2020. Thankfully these guys understood:)

We shot at a gorgeous garden paradise!! Then thankfully, these two trusted me to do my thing. I found a patch of weeds behind said hospital of covid testing:)- and then took them to downtown Quad City area that I’ve shot a few times before and loved. We had a blast. These two laugh, a lot, and I love it!

Can’t wait for their big day! So I can see them and shoot the most amazing pics ever (duh) but also so I can love on Lauren again too! LOVE when I get to see my clients again:)))
